This off road camper, constructed at Yatala in 2003, is in very good condition and has just had a complete new tent unit fitted, including a day awning, by Challenge Camper Trailers in Adelaide.
This upgrade was necessary due to high wind damage received while staying at Cape Range NP this year. Otherwise this “bulletproof” camper has not given us a single problem during any of our trips.
The original awning, comprising the large awning roof with all the wall sections and skirts, is also included in the sale and every part is in excellent condition.
The camper has a special front box configuration, which includes a deep, separate box with a sliding shelf to house a boat motor. The front box system also holds a 60L upright Engel fridge.
A 90L water tank, totally covered in protective metal sheeting, has a monitoring unit within the camper, which is coupled with the 12V control/monitoring unit.
All lights within the camper have been replaced with LED units.
An on board battery charger maintains the batteries while connected to 240 supply, otherwise the batteries can be charged via solar cells, Anderson plug(car) or an external generator simply by flipping the required switches.
